With a background rooted in both live musicianship and DJ culture, Isaac has developed a distinctive approach to entertainment that blends the spontaneity of live performance with the creativity and versatility of a skilled DJ. From Funksalot to Music in Tahoe
Isaac's musical journey has taken him through the national touring circuit and into the heart of the vibrant Reno/Tahoe music community. Performing under the name Funksalot, he has built his career around a genuine passion for music, collaboration, and bringing people together through unforgettable live experiences.
In 2008, Isaac founded Music in Tahoe with a vision of offering something beyond the traditional wedding DJ experience. Drawing on his background as a multi-instrumentalist and DJ, he set out to create a more personalized, musically inspired approach to weddings and special events.
What began with Isaac as a solo performer has evolved into a collective of more than 25 exceptional DJs, live musicians, and audio professionals. Today, as founder and musical director, Isaac continues to guide the creative vision behind Music in Tahoe, bringing together talented artists who share his commitment to exceptional musicianship and meaningful celebrations.
