Maxwell Giesler

DJ/MC

Max grew up in a household where music was a constant companion, spanning genres, generations, and cultures. His formal music training began with piano and saxophone, but it was the irresistible pull of 2000s electronic dance music—with its seamless fusion of sounds and nostalgic flair—that led him into the world of DJing.

Since 2010, Max has performed at a wide range of events—from intimate gatherings to packed nightclubs—always bringing a thoughtful, dynamic, and deeply personal approach to his sets. For Max, DJing is more than just mixing tracks—it’s a form of storytelling. “While individual songs tell short tales, blending them together produces a novel-like experience, unique to each event or session,” he shares. His passion lies in discovering new sounds, fusing genres, and creating musical journeys that feel both familiar and fresh.

His path to Music in Tahoe began serendipitously in 2021, when he and his wife Ingrid had Milton Merlos perform at their wedding. They were struck by Milton’s professionalism and his ability to craft a set that perfectly reflected their eclectic taste. That experience led to a connection with Isaac, and soon after, Max joined the team—adding his own distinct voice to the collective.

Although he enjoys DJing in many different settings, weddings hold a special place in Max’s heart. He thrives on the challenge of tailoring each mix to reflect the unique energy and musical taste of every couple. Every set he creates is one-of-a-kind—curated with intention to ensure the music is not only spot-on, but truly unforgettable.
